Design.
As a worldwide leader in state-of-the-art camouflage pattern design, specialized computer software and proprietary design techniques are utilized to design state-of-the-art camouflage patterns. Digital, analog, plus a combination of styles are possible.
CAMOUFLAGE DESIGN WORK
Start by possibly selecting a pattern from existing designs, colorways can be adjusted to fit your needs.
- Or, supply your own pattern and it can be refreshed and upgraded.
- Or, supply your requirements for a pattern and custom artwork can be created.
Design rate is $80 USD @ hour, minimum $300 (non-refundable). Average design time ranges from approximately 15 to 40 hours.
Approved artwork printed on test paper, ink jetted onto fabric, or digitally printed. Test paper, or fabric, merely shows the pattern. Test fabric is not 100% production quality.
Copyrighted camouflage pattern designs normally licensed, with corresponding royalty fees applied. Some rare cases, designs are sold.

Printed fabrics are available directly from our fabric converter. Fabrics, in all patterns, are not always in stock. Some patterns require print screens to be made before fabric can be printed. Average fabric run factory minimum is 10,000 yards. TSP has no controls over these minimums.
TSP is not a sewing factory, nor a tailor shop, nor an embroidery shop. TSP does not own sewing machines and do not make or alter any products.

Licensing & Purchasing.
LICENSING
The majority of pattern design transactions are licensing related. Licensing customers usually fall into one of the following categories.
Government Agencies and Military Forces - Domestic or Foreign
Professional Security Forces
Defense Contractors
Commercial Sewing Manufacturers
Professional Water Transfer Film Decorators
Any Licensee will first fill out a simple information/questionnaire form. Required form items include Government/Company name, contact name, contact address, all relevant email addresses and phone numbers. What type of products that will be produced and what potential markets could be used for distribution if related to commercial production. Some style or pattern design restrictions could apply due to prior exclusive agreements with other customers.
When parties come to agreement on a simple rules of licensing agreement form, a final licensing contract will then be created to cover each unique license arrangement. All license agreements contain a minimal licensing fee.
PURCHASING
Very few outright purchases occur due partly to the very high up-front compensation cost for a pattern design. Purchase cost is largely calculated by estimating the possible regular royalty revenue generated for a five year run period by a particular customer.
Outright sales mean the customer owns the pattern design free and clear of any and all claims by TSP. It is also the responsibility of the purchaser to arrange for any national or international copyright/intellectual property protections they might require for a pattern design. TSP will simply be listed as the author however, that would not hold any intellectual property rights towards the sold pattern design. *Note: some pattern designs are not eligible for an outright sale as determined by TSP.
